Over the years I have come to realize that the law has become a tool of the wicked Party, a set of shackles for anyone -- especially ordinary citizens -- who refuses to obey it. Watching people who still place their hopes in the law being slaughtered at will, I could not bear it any longer. Today, drawing on my own experience and what I have learned over the years, I am writing this down so that more people can see the true nature of the wicked Party.
From Hopeful to Disillusioned
I was born in the 1970s. Filled with lofty ideals and a pursuit of fairness, justice, and righteousness, I firmly believed that everyone was equal before the law, that the law was the last line of defense for human morality, and that no one should be above it. After graduating, I went to work in the legal field.
There is a popular saying among the people: “Big-brimmed hats tilted at both ends -- they eat off the plaintiff, then eat off the defendant.” I didn't believe the rumor, and chose to work at the court. In the eyes of ordinary people, the court seemed lofty and unapproachable, but because I was considered “outstanding,” and because I held a Party membership card, I was highly valued by the court's leadership.
After working there for a while, however, I discovered that the wicked Party's leaders said one thing and did another. Often the law was not all-powerful -- when law and power came into conflict, people were not actually equal before it.
After working longer still, I discovered that the law was not so sacred after all -- before the law, there were far too many disadvantaged people.
To protect the vulnerable, I left the coveted position within the system and became a lawyer. At first, relying on my own unyielding courage and firm belief in the law, I earned recognition from all sides and became somewhat well known locally. Whatever the dispute, I could usually tell from experience and practice who would win or lose. When others couldn't get cases, people lined up to hire me.
After the CCP launched its persecution of Falun Gong, and especially after 2015, my faith in the law was overturned. I came to understand deeply that Falun Gong practitioners were extremely kind people who insisted on being good according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. They were guardians of human morality and conscience who never did anything illegal, never broke any rules, and never made enemies of anyone -- rare good people in this world. Yet not long after the “July 20th” crackdown of 1999, every department across the country was ordered not to allow the practice of Falun Gong, and judicial bureaus everywhere issued internal rules forbidding lawyers from taking Falun Gong cases or practicing Falun Gong themselves. A number of conscientious lawyers quietly took on cases for persecuted Falun Gong practitioners anyway, and nearly all of them had their licenses revoked as a result. I quietly provided consultation behind the scenes for a long time, until I was reported and forced to stop practicing.
Recognizing and Awakening
Although I had stopped practicing law, many people still came to me for help. Watching one person after another arrive at their wits' end, I was deeply moved, and used what legal knowledge I had to give them hope. But now I have discovered that the law has been completely twisted -- not only has it lost the function it once had, it has instead become a set of shackles the wicked Party uses to oppress the people, extract wealth, and control ordinary citizens and dissenting voices.
This problem has become especially acute in 2025. The wicked Party deliberately manufactures all kinds of problems to force innocent people down the road of litigation. The courts collect litigation fees from this, and ever since 2015 they have steadily tightened restrictions on ordinary people representing themselves in court, forcing people to hire lawyers -- lawyers who are then bought off and controlled.
At present, almost every industry on the mainland is controlled by the wicked Party in one way or another -- whether it is the police, the procuratorate, the courts, the judicial system, lawyers, or enterprises, there is nothing the wicked Party does not control. It manufactures all kinds of social problems through various means -- car loans, mortgages, credit cards, bank and non-bank lending of every kind, forced demolitions, real-estate registration, and so on. Whether you live on the mainland or run a business there, you can be violated by the wicked Party through some means at any time. As the book Stay Awake puts it: “The evil spirit behind the wicked Party uses people in this world to harm one another.”
The mainland as a whole has now fallen into a pattern of mutual harm. My unwavering faith in the law collapsed case by case, in the face of real events.
I remember the first case that made me doubt was a civil case in which the plaintiff should have won hands down -- even a three-year-old could have seen who was in the right -- yet the judge still ruled against him, purely because certain people within the system got involved. To this day the verdict has never been overturned; appeals, retrials, and protests have proven meaningless in the face of power. This was the first injustice I encountered after entering society. After that I encountered far too much injustice, and most of the people who came to me were suffering real, concrete injustices. Later, injustice in criminal cases piled up one after another as well, and the so-called “error-correction system” turned out to be nothing but a trick to deceive people.
After years of struggling with this and observing it closely, I now see clearly: the wicked Party is using legal professionals to deceive people, and I no longer wish to let it continue. I felt I had to write this down and expose it. I believe many in the legal profession have awakened just as I have. Why do I say this? Because I have seen many kind-hearted people in the legal field around me change jobs or resign, saying they no longer want to be complicit. When I talk with them, they often say, “Ah! The law lost its true meaning long ago!” And when Falun Gong comes up, they say, “It would be wonderful if everyone practiced Falun Gong -- who these days can compare to those who do?”
The Reason for Karmic Retribution
At present, people are being arrested throughout the mainland's judicial system at every level, from the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate down to the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Public Security, and officials at the provincial, municipal, county, and township levels. Behind these arrests lies the fact that these people, too, were merely tools used by the wicked Party -- once used up, they are discarded to keep up appearances. In truth, as detestable as those arrested may be, they too were victimized by the wicked Party.
At present there is almost no honest way to make a living on the mainland; fraud and deception are everywhere. With one hand the Party manufactures conflict, and with the other it shouts “rule the country by law” while wringing the people dry.
I am writing this to tell people on the mainland: stop believing in the law, and stop believing in so-called fairness and justice. As long as the wicked Party has not perished, the suffering of the people will not end. Without the Communist Party, China will have hope -- do not hold any hope or illusion about the wicked CCP. Every calamity China faces today has been brought about by the wicked Party. I hope even more that people will read the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and that if they have the chance to encounter materials revealing the truth of Falun Gong, they will treasure that chance and read them carefully.
Restoring Traditional Culture Is the Real Solution
We often say we are children of the divine, and that China is an ancient civilization with five thousand years of history. The culture handed down by the divine is our true way of conducting ourselves in this world -- it is certainly not what the CCP has taught us. Every one of us living on the mainland is a child of the divine with deep historical roots. I hope we can move from a state where everyone treats everyone else as an enemy, to one where people treat each other with warmth and kindness; that we stop using any means necessary for the sake of profit; and that we stop believing in the wicked Party's laws.
In truth, from the very moment the wicked Party declared it would “defeat Falun Gong,” its own doom was sealed. From the day it began using the law to persecute and sentence kind-hearted Falun Gong practitioners, it pushed the law itself to the point of losing all fairness and any right to exist. Yet the divine's compassion is boundless -- the nationwide effort to sue Jiang Zemin was itself one last chance given to the wicked Party's legal system. But faced with lawsuits from over two hundred thousand people across the country, the CCP's courts not only refused to accept the cases, they instead mobilized the police, the procuratorate, the courts, and the government in full force to carry out sustained, illegal, and inhumane persecution of the plaintiffs -- the victims, accusers, and whistleblowers. On the surface, the wicked Party appears to have won through this persecution, but in reality it has only accelerated both the law and the Party itself toward utter and irredeemable ruin.
At present the wicked Party is loudly promoting its so-called “rule of law by the Party,” which is in fact nothing more than a deceptive trick used after it has completely lost the hearts of the people. It is said that every day, countless petitioners gather in Beijing, and what they report most often are wrongful convictions and government inaction -- problems that were all created by the wicked Party in the first place. How could the wicked Party possibly solve them?
If the Wicked Party Does Not Change, Everyone Is a Victim
In truth, a little thought reveals that ever since the wicked Party entered China, it has never stopped manufacturing conflict of every kind -- these years have never seen a pause. The wicked Party is the root cause of every problem; only by withdrawing from it can there be hope.
Everyone has probably noticed that all sorts of laws, regulations, and rules have proliferated to excess, and yet problems only keep multiplying, because the wicked Party has corrupted people's hearts. I hope that in the future, matters that can be resolved through negotiation will no longer end up in court, and that people can return to normal, decent relationships with one another -- just as the song goes, “If everyone gives a little love, the world will become a beautiful place.”
