From the moment Jiang Zemin decided to suppress Falun Gong, the CCP's fate was sealed as “certain to perish” -- there was never any other option. Since the three years of the pandemic began, its footsteps toward death have only quickened. Beginning in 2026, the gates of hell have swung wide open. The CCP, already laden with unforgivable sins, could turn to ash on any given day, and it would surprise no one. Grassroots personnel who do not wish to become the CCP's scapegoats should quit the Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers right away -- don't delay any longer!
In any normal society, every citizen holds the right to life, liberty, residence, employment, personal safety, and private property; while contributing to society, they also enjoy the public services society provides, such as high-speed rail and subways. If every one of a group of kind, decent people's civil rights is under threat, how are they supposed to survive? What kind of evil country would this be? And what role have you played in it?
In residential communities, workplaces, and schools across mainland China, staff often receive instructions requiring Falun Gong practitioners there to sign a “guarantee statement renouncing the practice”; and at customs checkpoints, on high-speed trains, and in subways, Falun Gong practitioners are frequently subjected to ID checks and body searches.
Among the cases published by Minghui.org between 2019 and 2023, Falun Gong practitioners in at least twenty-six provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across mainland China have faced all manner of threats -- such as being told their children would be barred from school unless they signed a “guarantee statement renouncing the practice.” Below are just a few examples:
1. Barred from school: The granddaughter of Hubei Falun Gong practitioner Zhou Shuilian was admitted to university, but the local “610 Office” and public security bureau in Xishui County refused to let her register for classes. In the end, the child was never able to attend.
2. Evicting tenants: In Ma Village, Hezhuang Township, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, Falun Gong practitioner Ni Xuewen refused to sign the “guarantee statement.” In response, the village committee drove out the tenants renting his house, warning them that if they did not move out and continued to rent from him, his children would be barred from school. One villager remarked that even murderers and arsonists get fed in prison -- wasn't this simply refusing to let a family survive at all?
3. Stirring up family conflict: A police officer threatened Hebei Falun Gong practitioner Su Deqin, saying: “From now on, we won't let them” -- referring to her two young grandsons -- “go to school, so that they end up hating you.”
4. Forcing the severance of a mother-child relationship: Hubei Falun Gong practitioner Liu Qunhua was even forced, in desperation, to sign a statement severing her relationship with her own children.
5. Illegally cancelling passports: The Xincheng Branch of the Xi'an Public Security Bureau in Shaanxi Province illegally cancelled the passport of Chen Jie, daughter of Falun Gong practitioner Chen Mingan, and placed her under an illegal border-control order, barring her from studying abroad.
6. Threatening to cut off her livelihood: “Stability maintenance” personnel in Huogezhuang Township, Baodi District, Tianjin, pressured Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Hongmei to renounce her belief; when she refused, they threatened to shut down the noodle shop she depended on for a living, putting such enormous pressure on her husband that he cut his own arm with glass.
7. Threatening to cancel all welfare benefits: Kang Fujiang, a Falun Gong practitioner in his sixties from Changyu Village, Xishanbei Township, Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, refused to renounce his belief; village officials told him, “Your five-guarantee status, your subsistence allowance, your medical reimbursements -- all of it is cancelled.”
8. Threatening to shut down an online shop: In Yuanjiazuo Village, Fuzuo Township, Suning County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, township and village officials told the son of Yuan Huizhi: “If your mother doesn't sign, we'll tear down the sign at your company's front gate and have the Administration for Industry and Commerce shut down your online shop.”
9. Threatening her family's future: Falun Gong practitioner Chen Xiumei, of Lidu Town, Jialing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, was warned by police: your family is finished, you've ruined your children -- they won't be able to go to university, they won't be able to pass civil-service exams, they'll never become officials or get promoted, even a regular job will be taken away from them, they won't be allowed to join the military, and so on.
10. Taking back subsidized housing: Falun Gong practitioner Ma Guizhen of Lingwu Farm in Lingwu City, Ningxia, refused to sign the “guarantee statement renouncing the practice,” and the local police station threatened to take back the farmland her family cultivated and reclaim their subsidized rental housing. Her family endured enormous pressure as a result.
11. Targeted while traveling: When riding subways or high-speed trains in China, devices in the hands of police at station entrances can identify a Falun Gong practitioner's ID information, flag it specially, and subject the practitioner to interrogation or even body searches.
12. Targeted at border crossings: Entry-exit administration offices require applicants to provide a “guarantee statement renouncing the practice” before processing passport applications -- otherwise the application is denied.
From 1999 to 2026, incidents like these have occurred in China day and night, without pause. This is part of Jiang Zemin's policy of persecuting Falun Gong through “defaming their reputations, cutting off their financial resources, and destroying them physically.” Before Jiang Zemin's rule, China's civil-service system operated under the rule of “leaving a paper trail for everything that happens”; but ever since the persecution of Falun Gong began, every single order aimed at suppressing Falun Gong has been passed down purely by word of mouth -- no faxes sent, no recordings allowed. This is because they themselves know full well that every decision China's government has made regarding Falun Gong, ever since Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang, and Liu Jing's clique ordered the crackdown, has been illegal from the start.
Why do the tactics used to threaten Falun Gong practitioners take so many different forms? In truth, all of these threats -- against a practitioner's livelihood, employment, housing, children's education, military service, and so on -- are deliberately kept “flexible.” The CCP's goal is simply to make Falun Gong practitioners abandon their belief; when a practitioner refuses to sign, pressure cascades downward from the provincial to the municipal, county, township, and village levels, escalating at every stage. The CCP has imposed “grid management” over where residents may live, and applies an even more all-encompassing form of “control” specifically over Falun Gong practitioners.
When “control” fails to achieve its goal, every level of authority mobilizes whatever social resources it commands to threaten Falun Gong practitioners -- their children's school enrollment, their workplace, their chances of passing the local civil-service exam, even their ability to open a shop or run a business all come under threat.
The higher the administrative level, the less direct evidence of persecution it leaves behind (subordinates who receive verbal orders will attest that they were merely carrying out orders from above); it is instead the neighborhood committees, local beat police, and township officials whose words and actions in threatening Falun Gong practitioners become the most direct evidence -- complete with time, place, the specific incident, and outcome, every element of proof present and accounted for. All of this constitutes illegal conduct that exceeds the bounds of public authority; once challenged through administrative litigation, such conduct is bound to lose. There are already cases in which Falun Gong practitioners have used legal means to reclaim their pensions, have their jobs reinstated, and won their cases. So a reminder to these grassroots personnel: do not mistake the CCP's illegal notices and directives for actual law. Persecuting good people will bring karmic retribution -- stop serving as the CCP's scapegoats.
Legally speaking, persecuting Falun Gong practitioners is a criminal act; from a humanitarian standpoint, it is a crime against humanity.
